Wednesday 7th August, Prescott Hill Climb
Almost Athletes are again pleased to be hosting the Bugatti 10k, a very successful road race in the Gloucestershire AAA's series. Our thanks to Cheltenham and County Harriers for providing the marshals, to LuSH Race Timing for providing its chip timing service, and to the Bugatti Owners' Club for providing the venue.
The route is a mixture of scenic quiet country roads and is an undulating course, though suitable for beginners to this distance. Distance markers at every km, chip timing and a bespoke medal for every finisher.
Prizes are awarded to:
• Mens & Ladies 1st, 2nd & 3rd,
• MV40, MV50, MV60, MV70,
• FV35, FV45, FV55, FV65,
• Mens and Ladies team prize (first three home with club affiliation and wearing club vest).
Please note any runner winning a 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize will not be eligible for an age category prize (i.e. they will not win 2 individual prizes).
Post race refreshments will be available, with burgers / hot dogs / veggie burgers being available to purchase in the Club House... with maybe a cheeky beer to wash them down! What better way to reward yourself after your strenuous efforts? Please note, these facilities will not be open before the race; do allow sufficient time for your last minute preparations as there may be queues at the toilet block!
