The race will start promptly at 10.00 am.
We also ask that you start in the relevant area according to your speed as shown on large
boards, i.e. sub 35 minutes, sub 40 minutes, etc. Thank you.

The race is held under UK Athletic rules, Licence Number 2016-23676 (see www.ukathletics.net) and you must agree to observe these rules, the event rules and obey the instructions of marshals at all times. Runners must respect the Highway Code. For safety reasons, the use of iPods, MP3 players, etc, is strictly prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
Race Numbers and Timing Chips
All entrants will have to collect their race number and timing chip on the morning of the race from the Rowing Club just behind race village on the Crown meadow. The collection point will be open from 8.00 am. Please make sure you arrive in plenty of time to collect your chip and race number.
For local residents, race numbers and chips can be collected on Thursday 7th July 5-7pm at Run Stuff.
The race is at that time of the year where it can be very hot, please start the race well hydrated. There is one water station on the course which you will pass twice (at 3.5 km and 6.7 km) where water will be dispensed in cups. There will be a few 500ml bottles for those who wish to carry water with them. At the finish there will be bottled water and bananas provided at the end.

Very limited entries can be accepted on the day from 8.00 am. Please arrive early if you wish to enter on the day as no entries will be possible after 9.30 am, even if there is a queue, as the race must start on time. Please go to the enquiry desk in the Rowing Club on the Crown Meadow
Crown Meadow, Evesham. Start, Finishing area and Refreshment tent will be located close to Evesham Rowing Club on Crown Meadow. Tea/coffee, drinks and cakes will be available from 8:30am.
Public toilet facilities are available on Bewdley Street Car Park, Oat Street (just off High Street) and also on the Crown Meadow car park near the Race Village and in the Rowing Club.
Parking facilities are available at Merstow Green, Bewdley Street, and Oat Street. (NB: Charges may apply - please check the notices before leaving your vehicle.) For health and safety reasons, parking will not be available on the Crown Meadow.
Supervised Baggage Storage
Entrants will be able to store baggage on the Crown Meadow, near the start
St John Ambulance will be in attendance in the Race Village from prior to the start until the last runner has completed the course. If you are feeling unwell or ill, please take medical advice and consider not running.
The finish is on Crown Meadow by the Race Village where all finishers will receive their memento of the race. Prize Presentations Presentation of overall prizes will take place within the Race Village around 11.30am. Runners of any age may win the overall prizes, but each competitor will only be eligible for one prize. Please make every effort to attend the presentation if you have won a prize and to come and support the winners even if you have not.
Results will be governed by gun time, not chip time. We will try to display results at the Race Village as soon as we can. They will also be posted on the Evesham Vale Running Club website.

Children's Fun Run - Entries on the day £2.00
After the overwhelming popularity of the fun run in previous years, we are once again pleased to offer a fun run for children aged 14 and under.
We will include a measured mile race around Crown Meadow and Abbey Park for children aged 9 to 14.
There are four races this year:
5's and under (500 Metre sprint)
6-8 (500 metre sprint)
9-11 ( 1 mile)
12-14 (1 mile)
