This year marks the 25th anniversary of the club (Yes, we have been running that long!) and we
would like to celebrate the occasion with our members and their families.
You are all invited to a Pig Roast which will take place after the Summer Painswick to Cheltenham
run on Bank Holiday Monday the 26th of August from 1pm. The freshly cooked pork will be served
in bread rolls with stuffing and apple sauce. We will of course provide vegetarian alternatives. You just
need to bring a dessert (as in previous years’ BBQ’s), something to sit on and any equipment you
might have for field games (rounders anyone?).
The venue will be The Old Pats, Everest Road, Leckhampton, GL53 9LA which means that there will
be changing facilities for runners, a bar (most important!) and a big field for the children to play in.
Costs will be as follows:
We will need an idea of numbers in advance so please let us know asap how many adults and
children will be coming by emailing June Franks: firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday the 20th of August.
Online payment should be made by Tuesday the 20th of August: Account Number: 10227084 Sort Code: 16 – 16 – 13 (please use your surname as a reference). If you can't pay online, please pay by cash or cheque after the run on Wednesday the 21st (but email your numbers by the Tuesday deadline please).
It’s going to be a great day (especially if this weather keeps up) and the perfect way to celebrate
25 years of running!
